Thank you to all who attended. Families, please check your e-mail for a link to the ceremony/butterfly release photos.
On July 10, the Nora Madelyn Fund for Infant and Child Loss and the Providence Newberg Medical Center’s Perinatal Loss Committee will host the 14th annual remembrance ceremony for families who have lost a child or children in pregnancy or as an infant.
The ceremony will be held in the Providence Newberg Medical Center’s Healing Garden. Families will be able to release a butterfly in memory of their child or children.
Please RSVP by July 6 to email@example.com or (503) 537-1621 with your name, how many will attend, and, if you wish to participate, the name of your baby or babies to be honored with a butterfly release.
This is an in-person event. The ceremony will be photographed but not recorded. Butterflies will not be available for pick-up. If you are unable to attend the event after RSVPing, your butterfly will be released by a volunteer.
After the passing of their daughter, Carli Nicole Peters, Nick and Kelly Peters donated funds that were gifted to their family to the Nora Madelyn Fund. As a result of this generous donation, the Nora Madelyn Fund was able to purchase a Cuddle Cot to be used by bereaved families at Providence Newberg Medical Center. A Cuddle Cot is a cooling system that allows a baby to stay with their family in their hospital room. We greatly appreciate the Peters family’s generosity which will allow the Nora Madelyn Fund and Providence Newberg Medical Center’s Perinatal Loss team to further support and assist our families in their time of need. Thank you, Nick and Kelly, for this gift in memory of your beautiful girl!
